Friday Photo: The Desert in Black & White

Here’s an image from the Empty Quarter. I’m not old fashioned enough to take photographs in black & white, and considering that by nature the desert is quite simple and plain, I didn’t think that simplifying the images would add much to their aesthetics. I think I was wrong though, because this is one of my favorites.
