“I will continue to plant until my last breath”

I’ve written before about my favorite book, the man who planted trees. It’s a lesson in simplicity, persistence and dreams (it ought to be compulsory reading for conservationists!).

It shows that, sometimes, big conservation doesn’t need to be a top down affair. That great things – forests! – can and do have small, humble beginnings.

It’s inspiring stuff, and here’s a film of a real life man who plants trees.
