Finnish Lapland

Kevo Subarctic Research Station is situated on a stunning lake in the far North of Finnish Lapland. Earlier this year I traveled out with my fellow conservation biologist Lawrence Ball to spend a few weeks surveying the extensive birch forests in the area.
