Training for Antarctica

Last year I got involved with an expedition that aimed to journey to Captain Scott’s final resting place, to mark the centenary of his death, and that of his men. As with many big budget expeditions (especially involving Antarctica), it didn’t make it off the ground as intented. However, we were lucky enough to spend a few days undergoing some intensive training with the Royal Navy at HMS Raleigh. Last week I came across this video of us being put through our paces, you might enjoy watching us suffer.
