Crowdfunding Science on Experiment.com

Note: I had a few problems with my website this week, everything survived in the backups except this post! So here’s a very simply quick summary of what I wrote about…

Up until recently, what crowdfunding has really lacked is a website dedicated to science. So I was pretty excited to discover Experiment.com. I’ve written a few times about crowdfunding for conservation, and the variety of projects being funded.

This website, I think takes things to the next level. After a quick peruse, here’s a few of my favorite conservation and ecology themed projects!

  1.  Warm Ants! Predicting the impacts of climate change on biodiversity Down Under.

  2. Cataloging Insect and Bat Diversity in Belize

  3. Deep sea sharks: Do they survive?

  4. Feeding ecology of endangered green sea turtles

  5. Corals on Acid
